The Canolfan
The Canolfan Yr Hen Orsaf. (The Old Station Centre) is built on the site of the old railway yards which served both the now defunct surrounding slate quarries and the mainline between Talysarn and Penygroes where it joined the main rail network.
The Canolfan is set in one of the beautiful settings on earth facing Mount Snowdon in the Nantlle Valley, an ideal setting for resting the soul.
The Canolfan not only serves the community it surrounds, but also the wider area as a conference centre for day courses. Its catering facilities ,Yr Injan Bach,( The Little Engine) is a professionally equipped kitchen manned by a professional chef.( Lis Woodford) whose reputation is second to none.
